Dog owners in Redstone have easy access to a number of great parks and trails for their four-legged friends’ daily adventures. If you’re not sure which one of these awesome parks your furry pals will love the most, we’ve compiled a few of our favourites for you to check out.
Confluence Park, also known as West Nose Creek Park, is a sprawling 73 hectares of green space located near both banks of Nose Creek. With breathtaking views at every corner, this park is the perfect place for an afternoon stroll with your dog. On the other hand, if your furry friend prefers to run free and mingle with other pups, you can always take advantage of the park’s designated off-leash area.
Nestled at the edge of Martindale Boulevard, the Martindale Off-Leash Park offers pet owners an unfenced roomy play area - making it the perfect place for you and your dog to get in some physical activity. Here, you can enjoy an uninterrupted game of fetch, play tug of war, or simply wander amongst the trees.
From pristine views with room to play, Tom Campbell’s Hill Natural Park has it all. The park sits along St. George’s Drive and offers 18 hectares of open space overlooking the stunning Bow River and Nose Creek. Tom Campbell’s Hill also features paved pathways, grass trails, and an off-leash open prairie plain for your dog to enjoy. If you’re looking for a spot that offers a combination of natural and city views alongside ample opportunities for some outdoor fun, you’ll find it at Tom Campbell’s Hill Park.
Quaint and cozy, Thorncliffe Off-Leash Dog Park is the perfect location for some quality time with your pup. The park is located on Blackthorn Road and is unfenced - making it ideal for dogs and owners that like to explore. Thorncliffe also offers a lush open field to play and exercise.
Quality time with your furry friends is essential, and with these awesome parks available in northeast Calgary, you’ll be able to find the perfect spot to have some fun with your dogs.
